Bootlegs Highlight: The Best, The Bad, & The Worst
Finally came up with some interesting stuff to post. Bootlegs. Haha, when the word bootlegs come into our mind, we imagine a figure with poor quality and paint job. But, there are some really well-made bootlegs, and some really horrible bootlegs. So, see it for yourself in 26 examples I'll provide below. Rate it! The best bootleg, the bad bootleg, or the worst bootleg. By the way, recast resin/repainted figures like those in e2046.com are assumed to be bootlegs, but i choose carefully not post any of them here. These are the 100% chinese made bootlegs.
So, let's start from the well-made ones.
Well, are you surprised that this is a bootleg? Well, there are 2 clues - the guitar has no strings andthe leg fishnet stockings are different from the original. Well, if you could get this for 20 bucks then why not? It looks real good. LOL
Hmm, this is also very well made for a bootleg, if you ask me how to differentiate, probably i can't without a sample photo of her original...
There are some gaps on the joints, and the mouth is actually different from the original, but, well done, asshole bootleggers...
A potential replacement if you find the original exclusive too expensive for your pocket...
Darn, i did find this in a local store, but my local store's bootleg racing miku isn't as well made as this one.
Probably the eye might be a good sign this is a fake, but no doubt it's well made to me.
Not bad. But the glossy-looking skin is a good sign.
Oh, and say hello to my first PVC figure. I knew it is a bootleg but bought it anyway since she is cheap.
Next, it's the bad ones. Obviously you can tell it is a bootleg, but nothing extraordinary so i don't have much comments.
Some of you may think this Dead Master should have gone for the "good" category, but overall she is too glossy, and there are sculpt defects up close. Well, on the rest in this category, it;s a typical bootleg. =)
How could the flame even be placed the opposite direction... ?

Bootleggers still sculpt good boobs. yeah, i can see that, but the rest is... =.=;
Last but not least, the worst ones. Oh, before you scrool on make sure you are not eating or drinking, you might spit on your keyboard or choke on your food. Or, perhaps, your reaction might have been a good laugh...

Well, bootleggers always fail i complex/dynamic figures so I actually havent seen any decent fakes of this one yet. Probably you would notice the well made ones above consist mainly of nendos.
More horrid sight... Why did i list this as "worst made"? Next photo below tells you why.

Oh, who doesnt know this infamous Sader? She even has a fan base and people cosplaying as her! A bootleg worth owning for the lols.
