Gundam Unicorn: Episode 3 - Download! + Overview (UPDATE)
Everyone's been waiting for this to come right? Unfortunately for me, it's a 1080p Full HD file that'll take ages for it to get downloaded for my case - a massive 2.4Gb. Ouch. This is Malaysia, not South Korea, Japan, USA or Canada where internet speed is godspeed. I hope I'd find a 720p one, but anyway I'll try to download this. Just for the sake of convenience, here's the link to the download.. Thinking that it i have something i need to post, this new episode of Gundam Unicorn is undeniably a new hot topic.

I just watched this episode today. I heard Unicorn "teleported" but it's not actually a teleport just being very fast. Here are my views about this episode:
Action scenes are great, as usual, BUT, I'm seeing recycled footages. If you don;t want to be spoiled, don't continue reading.
Banagher playing Kira Yamato trying not to kill others, shooting the arms and legs, but doing that with a bazooka is quite a feat. Atmospheric entry combat is exactly the same as Strike VS Duel, with casualty(ies) involved. In Seed, a civilian shuttle was accidentally shot down. And guess what? Psychoframe playing the role of GN particles, reading conciousness of others. Gundam series and franchise needs new director and story narrator. And, the purple Angelo Sauper's Zulu Custom looks like Gunner Zaku warrior with that add on rifle. This is, trying to make Unicorn an impression among Gundam fans by portraying some power, then sell thousands of kits monthly and earn big bucks. Same strategy like Gundam 00 franchise. But this strategy often works doesn't it? =P As long Gundam lovers like it, they won't mind, i think.

One thing i noticed, the captured Unicorn Gundam is easily retrieved by Banagher and there seems to be almost no security guarding it, although it seemed that Full Frontal himself set up everything to make Banagher go against Marida one on one. I suppose it is also futile to secure it since only Banagher can operate it. On a side note, Gundam has always been notoriously famous for poor security - suits get stolen easily (for this case, retrieved).
So in short here's what i think:
Pros: Awesome combat scenes, story proceeds at a reasonable pace with more revelations (which we already know even before watching this episode)
Cons: recycled elements from past Gundam series (this happens in every new series though, since Seed).
So, as a Gundam fan, it's still worth watching. It's the first UC series in decades, though a short one. Im not posting additional screenshots because it may become a spoiler to those who haven't watched. Even though i gave a brief opinion of mine, pictures can say more than words do. =)
