Alright, just finished my Anatomy exam today and it went well, so here's a post for today despite this week being an exam week. Very simple post, as we go Mobile suit-talk/discussion on a Mobile Suit in Gundam Seed Destiny with a unique name. It's the AMA-951 BABI by Zaft, meant to replace the Mobile Dinn in Gundam Seed. Usually ZAFT's MS names are abbreviated. ZAKU Warrior is actually Zaft Armed Keeper of Unity Warrior; DOM Trooper is Dauntless Obliterator Magnificient Trooper. I don't see BABI has any abbreviation.

By the way, the above banner has nothing to do with this post, just a decoration. But, if your have watched the anime "MM!", the gal in the banner, Isurugi Mio, calls her friend Sado Taro (who is Masochistic) "Butaro", which literally means "Pig Boy". LOL


By the way, "BABI" means wild boar, or pig in Indonesian and Malay language. O_O LOL. For non Malaysian/Indonesian readers, FYI, It is also the animal despised/forbidden by their religion, Islam. They are forbidden to consume pork products, and usually the word Babi is used when angry to degrade people, or criticizing people. Well, the same fact applies for all Muslims.


I don't think we'll see "degrading" names like F*cker Gundam, or Asoko Gundam. XD Now, for those who understand the Malay language, here's a little humor for you. A friend of mine gave me this idea.

Imagine a scene where the BABI units are piloted by important characters, and the launching sequence is shown (such as, Kira mentions: "Kira Yamato, Freedom, Ikimasu!). Same sentence, what about translated into Malay? Gundam series was often translated into Malay language in local TV.

"*Pilot's name* BABI, Meluncur!!!"

Something like that?
