Late September Loot
It’s the month of Black Rock Shooter for me , officially. =) Now it’s time to show off my round 2 of loot which is also BRS stuff. Figma and nendo? Wrong. My country’s goddamn customs changed some sort of rules in importing merchandises and my retailer had to send a letter to the customs requesting exemption (the figmas and nendos are currently being held by customs, a huge load of them). Have to wait for another fortnight. =.= Glad that it’s only the first time something like this happened, and not common.
I’ve got the Black Blade early last week, so what’s next? There’s no need to guess eh?
BRS Original Version… ~*3* ~
Somehow I managed to acquire the first batch release, instead of waiting till December for the re-release. However, hunting for the old/first batch may mean paying a handsome sum of cash for it, like my previous Saber Lily. Not this time. I got her for a reasonable 9,500 yen, 10,200 yen including express shipping, from eBay, thanks to my effort in being resourceful in hunting for reasonably priced figures and being extremely lucky too.
The seller which I bought the black blade version from has the original version too, for 13,000yen. I decided to skip (I nearly bought her, but chose the cheaper black blade), but just after another week, this one popped out by another seller for 9,500 yen. Glad that I waited, but I haven’t saved enough!
I had perfect feedback score in eBay so I used that fact to request the seller to reserve the figure for me, while I pay by instalments within a month, which was accepted. But my mum offered to subsidize the figure for me. O_O I only paid approx 4700 yen (half) for her, the rest sponsored!! So, I got her early as September loot instead of late October loot. xD
BUT, with a condition: NO MORE SHOPPING!! (Like hell I would, LOL). By the time I posted this post, I’d have completed round 1 of photoshoots. Round 1 involves making serious use of photography skills I have, and light photoshops especially contrast and gradient color balance. Round 2 will be direct casual photoshoots – close up images for review purposes, less toying with ISO, Exposure Compensation etc. when taking pics, just make sure the photos are well focused and clear.
